Create your own pot o' gold

A handy desk organizer!

Your brightly-colored markers, pens, and other art tools are much too pretty to be stored in a boring ol' cup. Spice up your desk area with this unique DIY pen holder! Every rainbow needs a pot of gold at the end of it. In this blog post, we'll show you how to make your own metallic gold jar to store your supplies in just a few simple steps and give your beloved tools the stylish home they deserve!

To start, you'll need: 

• Metallic gold spray paint
• Glass jar (wide mouth is best)
• String or twine (optional)

Prep your jar for the spray paint by taking off the lid and flipping the jar upside down. Follow the instructions on the can of paint. Be sure to evenly coat the rim! Let dry.

Cut a long piece of string or twine and wrap around the lip of the jar between the grooves. Do this until theres a few inches of string left on either side, then tie into a knot or bow. 

Fill with your art tools (or snacks, we don't judge) and enjoy your newly organized space!
