Let's Make Art Matter for Judy: March 2021 Art Journal
Share
This month we are sending good vibes to Judy. Judy is known as a "mountain woman" and mentor that loves art and history.
She is a lifelong learner and educator who taught Art in elementary and high school for 30+ years. As an independent, feisty mountain woman she hiked with her black labs every day.
Along with her love of art, she has a great love of history. Using this love she researched and wrote articles for the local small-town newspaper for many years. Her topics included ancient Rome and Greece to the small western towns where she lived.
Judy is an inspiration to all who know her. When Judy moved down from the mountains 10 years ago, she became more isolated. She broke her hip and is now living in an assisted living facility. With COVID restricting her to her room, she is truly alone with no children, no computer, and her younger sister passing away. Let's remind Judy of the independent, feisty, art and history-loving woman she is with some postcards!
If you would like to send Judy a card, a stamped postcard is included your March Art Journal Subscription Box.
If you are not subscribed, but would still like to send some love, please email hello@letsmakeart.com for the address.
