Let's Make Art Matter for the Teachers in Ravenel, SC- Oct 2020 Art Journal
Every month we come together as a community to create small acts of kindness through art. This month we are sending love to a rural elementary school outside of Charleston, SC!
Many families in this community have been greatly impacted by the COVID pandemic for a variety of reasons, our art this month is meant particularly for the staff and teachers. Because it's such a small school, teachers are having to teach virtually and in-person at the same time, all while covering for other teachers who are out sick. While it can be impossible to tell the teachers and staff exactly how much they are absolutely loved and cherished, our small pieces of art will show love and appreciation from the art community. Let's give them a reason to smile!
