January Digital Projects
January Digital Projects
Welcome to our January Digital Watercolor Projects! When creating this "box", I thought about the feelings associated with January. It's still winter, so it's still cold, but there's a quietness to it because the craziness of the holidays is now behind us. I really liked the idea of doing a reflection because usually we take time to reflect on who we are and where we're at and all of our goals at the new year. These projects invite us to create a color change background, to learn the pattern you follow every time you paint fire, and explore light in the atmospheric perspective vs individual form.
Usually I try and pace our monthly projects from easiest to hardest. These ones are all about the same level of difficulty. The difficulty is the length and just being patient enough to sit through to keep working on it (snack breaks!). As you paint these projects I hope you'll enjoy basking in the quiet glow that happens right after the holidays.
